MY MOTHER QUIT SMOKING
IN
JANUARY 2008!
| On March 15, 2008 my mother, Irma, died of
complications after surgery on a burst bowel. The bowel burst because my mother had diverticulitis and was prescribed steroids which aggravated the condition. She was prescribed steroids in the hopes that it would help the CHEMO treatments that she was about to begin be more affective. She was prescribed CHEMOTHERAPY to fight the aggressive form of LUNG CANCER that she was diagnosed with in on the 17th of January, 2008. That was the day she quit smoking for the rest of what was left of her life. |
